Crash Involving Philadelphia Fire Truck Leaves 5 Firefighters Injured

VIDEO - A crash involving a fire truck in West Philadelphia left several firefighters injured Sunday morning. Fire officials said the crash, in which a vehicle partially rolled over, happened about 10 a.m. at 55th Street and Baltimore Avenue. Authorities confirmed that Philadelphia Fire Department Ladder 13 was involved in the crash.

Judge rules former Maine fire chief's age discrimination case may move forward

A federal judge has ruled a former Orono fire chief’s lawsuit against the town may go forward on the age discrimination and retaliation counts. U.S. Magistrate Judge John Nivison on Wednesday dismissed Norman “Buddy” Webb’s allegation that he was discriminated against based on a disability. Webb, 65, of Orono, is seeking compensatory damages, including back pay and pay he would have received had he not been fired, and attorney’s fees.

In lawsuit over firefighter promotions, Florida city fights to keep document secret

Suspected burglar stuck in chimney dies after California residents light fire
