Spokane Firefighters treated to Labor Day Lasagna from Olive Garden

Spokane's firefighters got a special Labor Day lunch on Monday, courtesy of Olive Garden, to thank them for all their hard work during this summer's busy fire season. It was an especially busy summer for the Spokane Fire Department. The city suffered its worst hazmat spill in more than a decade and crews battled countless fires across the state.

Update: Fire at Planned Parenthood in Pullman was arson

Fire investigators have determined that an early morning fire Friday at a Planned Parenthood clinic was arson. The fire started at around 3:30 a.m. along SE King Drive and caused extensive damage. Police said fire alarms and burglar alarms were tripped at the same time. Tanya Riordan with Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho called the fire and damage "tragic.

Arson investigators looking into fire at Pullman Planned Parenthood

Arson investigators in Pullman are trying to figure out how a fire started at Planned Parenthood early Friday morning. Pullman Police say they received reports of a burglary alarm that was tripped and when they showed up the building was on fire. Firefighters were able to first attack the fire through a broken window and quickly extinguished the flames, however police say the office and the attic of the building were burned.
