Clark County Fire District 6 voters agreed Tuesday to a roughly 18 percent increase in their property tax levy rate. According to preliminary election results, they voted 73.11 percent to 26.89 percent to approve a new, higher rate. District voter turnout was 27.16 percent, with 10,588 ballots cast as of Tuesday night.

A house fire in Wallingford occurred along Latona Avenue NE on Tuesday afternoon. Fire officials advised one dog died in the fire. Another is still missing.
