A city paramedic had died after being hospitalized just a few days earlier, according to the Chief of the Bladensburg Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Randy Kuenzli says Firefighter Nick Hemingway was hospitalized after going into cardiac arrest late Tuesday afternoon while on duty as a paramedic with the Baltimore City Fire Department.

A Red Robin Restaurant in Bothell caught fire Sunday during the dinner rush. The two-alarm fire started inside the location on the Bothell-Everett Highway near I-405. Witnesses said flames and smoke were shooting from the roof before firefighters arrived. An employee said itall started in the kitchen.
