Coconino Community College Brings Fire Apparatus to Students

Coconino Community College now has the ability to offer new training to Fire Science students and continuing training to firefighters in the field on how to operate the water pumps on a fire engine. The college purchased a PumpOps Simulator entirely with the help of grant funding from the federal Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act.

South Carolina Man Arrested After Crashing Fire Apparatus

Deputies arrested a South Carolina man after he crashed two vehicles Friday including a stolen fire truck. Jawwaad Tasawwur Robinson was charged with grand larceny, possession of a controlled substance (MDMA), and failure to stop for a blue light.

Knoxville (TN) Firefighters Chased Man who Disabled Fire Apparatus

A Knoxville man faces charges after he allegedly disabled a Knoxville Fire Department fire truck that was responding to an emergency call on Sunday. Jeremy Wynn, 42, faces two counts of vandalism, reckless endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.Â
