The Glasgow Fire Department is finally set to get their new fire engine in the coming months after receiving funding from the city. The new addition will also include an all new ladder truck for the department. The additions cost the city over $1 million, but the impact, fire officials say, is priceless.

When the ribbon is snipped at Cullman Fire Station No. 3 next week, the city will have in place expansive fire protection coverage. With four bays, training facilities and a storm-proof building to work from, Cullman Fire Rescue will be in a position to provide the north side of the city and beyond with rapid response.
