Shenandoah officials are considering an addition to the city's fire truck fleet. At its regular meeting Tuesday night at 6 at City Hall, the Shenandoah City Council holds a public hearing on entering into a $100,000 general obligation loan agreement for the Shenandoah Fire Department's purchase of a new fire truck.

Second Newborn Found in Indiana Fire Station's Baby Box

Chuck Kohler was just leaving his house Sunday night when his department pager went off with a medical alarm. Kohler, a father of five who lives nearby, was at the Coolspring Volunteer Fire Department within a minute. He found a newborn in the stations Safe Haven Baby Box, put on protective gloves, and took the baby out, holding the infant until medics arrived to transport the child to a local hospital.

Beer Brewing Contest Among Firefighters Benefits Restoration Of Old Fire Truck

DENVER -- There is a beer contest happening to support local firefighters. Dry Dock Brewing and Aurora Firefighters are teaming up again this year to hold an event to raise money for a retired fire engine. The Big John Fire Engine is a 1955 Seagraves Pumper.
