Mississippi fire department makes child’s firefighter dream come true

VIDEO: Eight-year-old Romeo Weaver had a dream of being a firefighter, and the Gulfport Fire Department made that happen. Though there have been several tests, Romeo is technically still undiagnosed, but his mother says they are labeling it cerebral palsy. She added that before he caught COVID, Romeo was able to feed himself and use his walker, but after that, things went downhill.

5 displaced, 2 cats killed in Everett triplex fire

PHOTOS: Five people were displaced after a fire destroyed a triplex in Everett. According to the Everett Fire Department, crews responded to the call of a fire in the 400 block of 45th St. SW. Crews said smoke could be seen from Mukilteo Blvd. The roof collapsed from the significant damage. Thankfully, no one was injured, and all occupants made it out safely.

Exclusive look inside the Williams Mine Fire

The Williams Mine fire which is three and a half miles northeast of Trout Lake, Washington has burned over 11,900 acres in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and threatened Yakama Nation land. On Aug. 5, a lightning storm rolled though the Gorge and it if wasn’t for a lucky trail runner the fire may not have been reported as soon as it was.

VIDEO: Fire destroys restaurant in Idaho, three firefighters injured

A massive fire destroyed the Wolf Lodge Inn near Coeur d'Alene Monday. The fire was reported around noon and multiple fire trucks and ambulances responded. Firefighters upgraded to a four-alarm fire requesting assistance from Idaho Department of Lands, Idaho State Police, Spokane County, and Shoshone County.

At the end of the 19th century, he revolutionized firefighting with his more than 60 patented inventions, including the Hale Water Tower and the telephone fire alarm, and helped bring the country's fire departments into the modern era.
