On Sunday, Stevens County Fire District 1 unveiled a new feature in the Loon Lake Station lobby: a beautiful painting by Sharon "Shane" Wayson, created as a tribute to both the district and her late husband, who volunteered there until his passing in 2017. Community members are one step closer to completing the collection of Pasco Fire's station identification chips. Local firefighters designed special logos to represent each of the station in Pasco. Fire crews are searching for hot spots on a commercial structure fire in the south end of Kitsap County. Crews said it’s a two-alarm fire in the 13000 block of Crescent Valley Road, and flames are under control as of 3 a.m., less than an hour after crews were dispatched. No injuries were reported.
