LAKEVILLE, MINN. [June 14, 2022] – ImageTrend, Inc. is excited to announce the release of the second annual report as part of the company’s Collaborate research and analysis program. Volume Two of the Collaborate Report is three years (2019-2021) of retrospective analyses that encompasses nearly 24 million prehospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) incidents across the nation. This report spans various themes including Influenza and COVID-19, traffic-related incidents, behavioral health, alcohol and suspected substance use, fall injuries and more.

The goal of this research is to contribute knowledge and insights to local, state, and federal agencies, as well as the healthcare industry as a whole. ImageTrend developed the Collaborate program to deepen its dedication to the enhancement of healthcare and public safety. Collaborate provides insights and a higher-level awareness through industry-leading research utilizing a vast set of de-identified data sources including clinical, operational, licensing/credentialing, system of care registries and public health.

“It’s an honor every year to work on such important research that can help the EMS and healthcare industries,” commented Morgan K. Anderson, Epidemiologist at ImageTrend and lead author of the report. “The Collaborate data is also valuable to those outside of these industries and this annual report is a way to bring attention to important topics and the impact they have on our communities.”

In addition to Collaborate’s annual reports, supplemental reports are also released throughout the year providing snapshots of data insights on relevant topics that relate to patient care, crew safety, operational management and public health in the prehospital setting. The reports highlight and summarize key analysis and findings to drive industry awareness, validation, and more in-depth research.
