Bodycam footage shows Benton County Sheriff's Office Corporal rescue man inside burning car

Incredible body-worn camera video posted by the Benton County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) on Wednesday shows a corporal rescuing a man from inside a burning car in Kennewick. On Monday, Corporal JP Benitez said he was driving by and saw a burning SUV in the Rite Aid parking lot off W Clearwater Ave and Highway 395.

Man rescued after vehicle falls into gully in Salmon Creek

Crews rescued a man Wednesday afternoon whose vehicle veered off Highway 99, crashed into a power pole and fell 25 feet into a gully in Salmon Creek. Clark County Fire District 6, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and AMR were dispatched at about 12:45 p.m. to Northeast Highway 99 near Parkview Drive.

The city of Silsbee recently cut the ribbon on its new fire station, reports 12 News.

The facility, located across the street from the old station on FM 418, was donated by South Hampton Resources.

Abilene (TX) Fire Department’s Engine 7 Involved in Crash

One person was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a crash involving the Abilene Fire Department’s Engine 7, reports Big Country Homepage.

Crews responded around 2:30 p.m. Monday to South First Street and Danville Drive, where the apparatus and a Dodge Challenger collided.

Meet Walker (MN) Fire Department’s New Apparatus

The Walker Fire Department recently added a new truck to its fleet, reports lptv.com.

Taxpayers and community-matched funds from Sourcewell enabled the purchase, and officials say the apparatus has a top-mount enclosed pump panel area through which firefighters can run water pumps within a safe, warm area inside the apparatus.

It also has a compressed air foam system, as well as an iPad that runs the truck, according to the report.
