Driver caught on camera vandalizing fire station in Oregon

VIDEO: A driver is wanted after they were seen on camera damaging a fire station early Sunday morning, according to Portland Fire & Rescue. At about 1:46 a.m., on Aug. 18, a driver in a white 1997-2003 Ford F150 pickup truck vandalized Fire Station 25, located at 5211 Southeast Mall Street, which serves people in the Mt.

911 operations center in Colorado using new AI tech to provide faster emergency responses

On one night, two places in the Northeast get hit with 1-in-1,000 year rainfall

VIDEO: In two places on the same night, the storm that deluged the Northeast this weekend dumped rain at or near rates that should be expected only once in a thousand years. The storm killed at least three people and caused widespread flooding. It dropped about 10 inches of rain over 12 hours on Sunday in parts of Connecticut including Oxford and Southbury.

Manufactured home damaged in SeaTac fire

No one was hurt in a house fire in SeaTac early Tuesday. Crews from Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority were called to a manufactured home in the 2400 block of South 142nd Street at around 5 a.m. When crews arrived, the residents were already out of the home. We sent a news crew to the scene, but the home was located down an alley and a deputy did not want our crew to go into the area for safety reasons.

Spokane firefighters suspect arson to be the cause of the brush fires west of Browne's Addition

The Spokane Fire Department responded to multiple brush fires west of Browne's Addition in Spokane on Monday afternoon. Crews arrived at the scene around 3:30 p.m. on August 19 to find 3 to 5 acres on fire in a wooded area of Peaceful Valley. Firefighters worked quickly to knock down the flames. Crews said the flames were out by 6 p.
