The City of Bellevue launched an investigation after a landslide caused an occupied house to slide off its foundation and collapse on Jan. 17. Officials said the investigation could take weeks or even months to determine the cause of the landslide. Former South King Fire & Rescue Commissioner James Fossos has died, the fire department announced on Jan. 20. A Floydale (SC) Fire Department apparatus that was stolen on Tuesday was recovered.

Sheriff’s officials say the truck was taken from the department after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

They found the truck on Wednesday but provided no details.
