Yakima County (WA) Fire District 5’s Station Robbed, Vandalized

One of Yakima County (WA) Fire District 5’s stations was robbed and vandalized Sunday.

The station, located in the 6200 Block of Yakima Valley Highway, lost 10-12 sets of protective clothing as well as medical supplies.

The facility is used strictly for storage, so the crimes won’t affect coverage in the area, the district notes.

Now the district is asking for help. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Yakima County Sheriff’s office.
