A man who was working on a semitruck on Sunday died after the truck came off its jack and pinned him to the ground, Puget Sound Fire said. One person has died in a crash just north of Sunnyside Sunday morning, according to Washington State Patrol. Troopers say a car was traveling east on Arrowsmith Road, blew the stop sign, crashing into a semi that was traveling north on SR 241. Officers say the sedan hit the semi's diesel tank, and the semi lost control.
