A Newburg Volunteer Fire Department was en route to a call when it was involved in an accident, reports CBS WTAJ.

The van tipped over and the passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

The Altoona Police Department is investigating the crash.

One person was injured in an accident with a Houston Fire Department fire truck, reports ABC 13.

The truck involved is HFD Engine 21, which is based at Fire Station 21.

A tanker fire apparatus has joined the fleet of White Sulphur Springs Volunteer Fire Department, reports The West Virginia Daily News.

A city official said the $300,000 purchase was important as the tanker has a water supply and the fire department serves areas where hydrants aren’t available.

The fire department posted to Facebook, “We would like to thank the citizens along with the City of White Sulphur Springs,WV for their support in the purchase of a new fire tanker. We strive to provide the best fire protection for our community, with out your support this would not be attainable.”
