The Asotin Complex is now reported at nearly 55,000 acres with 20% containment of the larger Dry Gulch Fire.
Idaho fire officials said the Dry Gulch Fire gained over 8,000 acres Saturday night. The fire's expansions to the south prompted additional evacuations in the Harlow Ridge community.
Hot, dry weather leads fire crews to believe the fires will continue to spread.

Four people were injured, and dozens left without a home after a large fire broke out at the Hanover apartment complex in SeaTac Saturday night.
Firefighters responded to the 3-alarm apartment fire in the 3100 block of South 192nd St in SeaTac around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say four people were transported to a local hospital, two with critical injuries and two with serious injuries.

Crews fighting the Burbank Fire in Yakima County say it has grown overnight to an estimated size of 12,000 acres.
As of Monday morning the Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team says the fire is 10% contained.
On Sunday crews believed they may have gotten the fire to 50% containment, but say that after fire growth and better mapping overnight, they now know it is only 10% contained.

Stephen Mair, Mercer Island Fire Department battalion chief/assistant fire marshal, was part of a task force that was called to Cle Elum on June 26 initially to help protect property that was near a large brush fire. There were four or five brush fires occurring simultaneously, thus stretching thin the resources on the east side of the mountains.
