VIDEO: A massive fire broke out in a Tukwila apartment complex early Tuesday morning, giving firefighters fits as they try to take it down.
Zone 3 Public Information Officer Eric Autry said the department was called out just after 5 a.m. for the fire in the 15100 block of 65th Avenue S, which crews almost immediately upgraded to a two-alarm fire.

VIDEO: Firefighters in Tukwila continue to fight a 3-alarm fire at a Tukwila apartment building that broke out early Tuesday morning and killed an adult and a child.
The building is so damaged that there is danger of it collapsing. Because of that danger, firefighters still haven’t searched some of the building, and five people are unaccounted for, a Tukwila Fire spokesperson said.

A man was arrested on Friday after going on a spree of destruction where he rammed into the back of a fire station, badly damaged two wildfire trucks and stole a fire jeep before crashing it into a field.
The incident began on Aug. 13 at around 6 p.m. when a witness reported seeing a man driving his car into the back of Spokane County Fire Department Station 98 several times.

VIDEO: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) authorized federal funds for the more than 13,000 Corkscrew Fire burning in Ford, Washington.
The fire is located 16.5 miles west-southwest of Deer Park. It is burning in timber, grass and brush. A total of 20 buildings were destroyed in the fire, including eight homes and 12 minor structures.

A state of emergency has been declared in Chelan County due to the Twenty-Five Mile Fire burning near Lake Chelan. It's the second time this summer an emergency due to wildfire has been issued in the county. The first was for the Red Apple Fire in July.
Chelan County commissioners signed a resolution Monday declaring the disaster.
