The CobraMax features a thermoformed cowling which adds a layer of protection for much of the exposed wiring on the monitor, and is available in 4 colors: matte black, gloss black, gloss red, or gloss gray. The light module gives you the ability to customize your monitor with your own back-lit graphics on each side. Chelan County: Cause of Pinnacles Brush Fire a Little Fishy

Crews from Chelan County Fire District 6, Chelan County Fire District 3, the Cashmere Fire Department and the Department of Natural Resources all helped to knock down a brush fire that began between US 2 and the Wenatchee River Wednesday around 9:30 am. Chief Phil Mosher said the fire, which burned about 1/6th of an acre just south of Pinnacles State Park, had a very fishy cause.

Oak Ridge (TN) Welcomes Fire Apparatus

The Oak Ridge Fire Department has welcomed a new truck in its fleet, reports WBIR 10 News.

The city posted to Facebook, “The Oak Ridge Fire Department is excited to announce it has a new truck designed for wildland firefighting. It has a 300-gallon per minute Hale pump with a 300-gallon capacity water tank and a 5-gallon foam storage tank.It can pump water through a bumper-mounted nozzle, which is operated via joystick inside the cab, while the vehicle is being driven so fire along the roadside can be contained and extinguished. This prevents having to deploy a hose line for a small area and helps to cover a larger area in less time.”

Waverly (NE) Fire and Rescue Putting 1934 Fire Apparatus in Parade

Waverly Fire and Rescue’s 1934 Ford Model BB fire truck will be in a July Fourth parade, reports Wahoo Newspaper.

The 87-year-old truck was originally purchased in 1934 and served WFR up until a fire in Prairie Home in 1953 where it broke down.

The truck was placed in storage in 1999 until the City of Waverly purchased it in February 2020 for $5,000 and the refurbishing process started in March 2021. Costs of refurbishing the truck was roughly $500.

Shreveport (LA) Fire Captain Injured in Fire Apparatus Accident

A Shreveport Fire Captain was injured in an accident involving a fire truck, reports KEEL.com.

He is expected to be recovered but he was cut from the truck using the Jaws of Life. Two other firefighters were not hurt in the accident.

The fire truck was returning to the station after responding to a call. There is not information for what caused the driver to veer off the roadway. The fire engine was heavily damaged on the front end.
