The teenager who was pulled from the rubble of the collapsed Surfside condominium was reunited with the first responders who helped rescue him.
New photos show Jonah Handler meeting with the first responders who came to his rescue shortly after the June 24 collapse of the Champlain Towers South. His father, Neil Handler, posted the photos on a GoFundMe page.

The 9/11 Museum is dropping plans for special exhibitions to mark the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks this fall, because of a massive budget crisis.
"I see the memorial as a cemetery. The names on those brass plates are akin to a headstone. Where the name appears, sorry, is where they fell.

Spokane County firefighters knocked down a house fire in Four Lakes Friday morning.
The fire started around 6:30 a.m. in the basement of a house on Medical Lake-Four Lakes Rd.
Crews from Spokane County Fire District 3 and the Cheney Fire Department are working on checking if it’s completely out.
Fire officials said there were residents inside the home at the time of the fire.

A large fire broke out at an apartment complex at 12200 East Maxwell Avenue in the Spokane Valley on Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials say the fire started on the 3rd floor of the building, collapsing part of the roof and injuring two firefighters. The firefighters were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Weather continues to be a factor as the 23,000-acre Chuweah Fire northeast of Coulee pushes further to the north and to the east toward Cache Creek Road.
According to the latest report on InciWeb, fire officials remain concerned about the needed resources to protect homes and other structures. Structure protection remains in place for areas east of Shiloh Rd.
