For the second time in about a month, the Chula Vista (CA) Fire Department opened a new station, reports sandiegouniontribune.com.
The $8.9 million, 13,000-square-foot Station 3, located at 100 Moss St. near Naples Street, replaces the 60-year-old facility that was formerly Station 9.
Much like the new Station No. 5 on Orange Avenue, Station 3 features roll-up doors, the ability to house modern fire equipment, four drive-through bays, and 10 bunk rooms.
