Members of Wilkes-Barre City (PA) Firefighters IAFF Local 104 were recently training with a new tiller ladder at the Washington Square Apartments high-rise, reports wnep.com.
The truck, which cost more than $1 million and was paid for with government grants, requires two drivers and has a ladder that ascends 107 feet.
Fire officials said that the aim of the training was to set the ladder, see how high it goes, and work on positioning.
