A 100-year-old technique is still being used by firefighters to save lives in St. Bernard Parish.

Survivors of the Camp Fire can get an online sneak peek of the Ron Howard documentary Rebuilding Paradise this weekend.
The original plan of the filmmaker to have it first shown in the Paradise Performing Arts Center.
This couldn't happen, however, due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Instead, the film's debut was at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, which was attended by former Paradise mayor Woody Culleton, who was one of several survivors featured in the documentary.

PHOTOS: Crews with South King Fire were dispatched to Wild Waves Thursday afternoon for a possible chlorine spill.
According to the fire department, the liquid spilled was determined to actually be sodium hypochlorite and not chlorine.
Crews say a total of 2,500 gallons of the liquid were spilled.
There are no reported injuries.

The Alderwood Mall parking garage near JCPenney will be used by South County Fire for weekly training through the beginning of August.
South County firefighters are using the parking garage to learn about new types of hose and practice hose setup for fires in multi-story buildings, said South County Fire spokesperson Leslie Hynes.
