The bulk of the diagnosed COVID-19 cases in Vermont are clustered in the Burlington area, home to some of the long-term care facilities that have seen outbreaks, but Hartford and Woodstock have also seen a notable number of cases. A man who was trapped inside a burning home Monday night was rescued by Seattle firefighters. 911 dispatchers received multiple calls just after 11 p.m. reporting heavy smoke and flames coming from a home in the 1400 block of 25th Avenue, according to David Cuerpo with Seattle Fire. Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved fire burning the home along with downed power lines in front.

On Monday, the Spokane Fire Department battled two fires blocks from each other after winds blew flaming debris to a house. According to the Spokane Fire Department, when they arrived at the 1400 block of Easter Liberty Avenue, they found a camper fully involved in flames that was threatening a garage nearby.
