Yakima: Woman accused of setting fire to mother's home faces arson charge

A 49-year-old Yakima woman accused of setting her mother's home on fire Sunday possibly faces charges of first-degree arson and violating a no-contact order. At least 1 dead, 3 injured after major explosion in Baltimore, officials say

Third Houston firefighter in ICU with COVID-19 as department prepares for another's funeral, union president reports

Massachusetts firefighters' union holds rally to save fire engine

The New Bedford firefighter’s union rallied on Sunday to oppose the mayor’s proposal to take an engine off the road. The rally started and ended at Station 8 in the city’s north end. The union argues that public safety would be compromised if the cuts are made. The proposal cuts engine 8 and ten vacant firefighter positions.
