VIDEO: A 2-acre wildfire was started with fireworks in Grant County, according to Grant County Fire District 13.
The fire broke out just after 9 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Road 12.3 NW near Ephrata.
The firefighters got to the scene was at the scene within 3 minutes, which helped keep the fire contained to 2 acres.

Three people were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Thursday morning following a house fire in Aberdeen.
Just after 4 a.m., Aberdeen Police and Fire personnel responded to a report of flames visible on a three-story home in the 900 block of Duffy Street on the west end of Aberdeen. Firefighters found a fully involved structure fire, according to a news release from Aberdeen Police Lt.

Spokane County Fire District 3 achieved a major milestone in its 74-year history on Monday with the first raising of the American flag over its newly renovated Station 33 in Four Lakes.
“We’ll be staffing it 24/7, 365 days a year,” District 3 Battalion Chief Tom Brunke said. “And we will aid them with volunteers on-shift.

At the Sedro-Woolley Fire Department’s training facility, firefighters can practice putting out fires that have erupted in homes and gas stations, practice their rescue techniques and learn to extricate victims stuck in a vehicle after a crash.
Soon, firefighters will also be able to train for what may happen if one of the many oil tank cars that run through Skagit County every day should overturn and catch fire.
