East Daviess (KY) Fire Station Struck by Lightning Bolt

Paul Nave, director of Owensboro-Daviess County 911, said the call was received at 6:38 p.m. Tuesday that the building had been struck by lightning and was on fire.

Carter Hall, the department’s public information officer, said the idea for a maroon truck came from Chief Jonathan McMahan, who was hired in 2017. The design came out of collaboration with Texas A&M System and University officials.
