		Fire officials say two people are unaccounted for after a fire overnight destroyed a home north of Olympia.
Crews were called to the 4300 block of Lemon Road Northeast about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. The two-story house and attached garage were destroyed, said South Bay Fire Chief Brian VanCamp.
VanCamp said investigators are trying to determine if the man and woman who lived there were home at the time of the fire.

		Firefighters not only managed to douse a house fire but rescue a cat trapped in the burning building near Port Angeles Thursday.
It was just before 8 a.m. when Clallam County Fire District 3 firefigthers were called for a home burning in the R-Corner area on the north side of U.S. 101. When they arrived, they found a room full of contents on fire that was spreading to the inside walls of the home.

		A child sleeping in a Spokane Valley apartment was awoken by the sound of a smoke alarm going off early Thursday morning. 
The boy then woke the rest of his family-- an adult and another child. The family safely got out of the apartment and called 911. 
Spokane Valley firefighters arrived to the 7000 block of E.

		South King Fire and Rescue Station 64 is back and better than ever.
After 10 months of construction, Station 64 reopened for service on Monday. The station, located at 3700 S. 320th St. in Federal Way, is now staffed 24/7.

		VIDEO: The Detroit Firefighters Association is calling for action after a terrifying fire. Four firefighters found themselves trapped inside a burning building.
The fire started on January 31, just before midnight at a vacant grocery store at Van Dyke and Gratiot.
