PHOTOS: Firefighters battled a fire that destroyed a home in Bonney Lake early Saturday morning.
East Pierce Fire crews said the fire started at 4:38 a.m. in the 21100 block of Snag Island Drive East.
Crews said when they got there the home was fully engulfed. Everyone and one dog made it out safely, but one dog did not survive.

PHOTOS: Crews are treating two people and controlling an active fuel leak after a plane crashed at Renton Municipal Airport Monday morning.
The Renton firefighters union first tweeted about the crash at 9:16 a.m. According to the union, the first arriving engine reported a "single plane upside down on runway with 2 patients" at Clayton Scott Field.

The Level 3 evacuation Levels have been reduced to Level 2 - Be Ready to Evacuate - as of Sunday night, according to Okanogan County Emergency Management.
The fire, known as the Eagle Bluff Fire, has burned an estimated 10,000 acres as of 2:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. According to Okanogan County Emergency Management (OCEM), a Red Cross Shelter has been set up at Oroville High School at 1008 Ironwood St in Oroville.

The Pacific Northwest has seen a significant increase in human-caused wildfires compared to the same time last year, according to the U.S. Forest Service.
Officials say since June 1, there have already been 197 human-caused or undetermined caused fire starts that have impacted National Forest lands in Oregon and Washington.

VIDEO: According to the Washington State Fire Marshal's Office, the Wawawai Fire started by lightning has burned approximately 526 acres.
As of Friday, July 28, the fire is 99% contained. The fire started on July 24 at 9:22 p.m. and has burned approximately 526 acres of range, grass and cropland.
Level 1 evacuations that were previously in place for residents near Wawawai Road, from the Snake River to Wawawai-Pullman Road, have been lifted.
