3 Texas Firefighters Injured In Multi-Vehicle Accident

A four-vehicle accident in Hood County Saturday afternoon left seven people injured including three firefighters. Hood County Fire Marshal Ray Wilson confirmed the injuries in the accident along Highway 51, and he says they are all doing okay. Two people including a female firefighter from the North Hood County Fire Department were transported hospitals via air ambulance.

Two aspiring cops: One suspected of arson, the other helped catch him

Update: Man held in fatal Skagit fire released

A man held in an arson fire that killed two children earlier this month has been released from jail. Skagit County has also dropped all charges against Jaramy Chism, Chism and his girlfriend Kimberly Hughes were arrested in the fire that killed a 6-year-old boy and his 8-year-old sister on July 15. Hughes remains in the Skagit County Jail.

Neighbors keep an eye out after fires in northeast Spokane

It’s been a dry weekend and with this heat, neighbors in the northeast part of Spokane are on high alert, especially after two fires broke out within blocks and minutes of each other Saturday night near Upriver Drive. Firefighters say the cause is unknown at this time, but neighbors say this isn’t the first time they’ve seen multiple fires in their neighborhood.
