Bullard XT Series thermal imaging cameras are equipped with Bullard’s X Factor image clarity technology and provide the fire service with the industry’s longest battery run time of more than eight hours of continuous use. The NXT and QXT models come standard with Bullard’s five-year warranty on the thermal imager and battery.

Both models are equipped with an ultra-high performance LCD display, which greatly increases brightness and contrast, letting firefighters see more clearly in smoke and direct sunlight. The NXT and QXT thermal imagers are ergonomically designed like the popular form factor of the Bullard LDX, allowing the imager to fit comfortably in the palm of a firefighter’s gloved hand. The NXT and QXT are available with a 240x180 or 320x240 resolution infrared engine. www.bullard.com, 877-BULLARD

The WATERAX HOTLINE® hose sustains the high pressure delivered by the company’s MARK-3® and BB-4® pumps while enduring rugged wildland conditions. Uncanny resistance to abrasions caused by rough terrain plus UV and ozone resistance make it durable in the field. HOTLINE has a renowned bright fluorescent appearance, which enables high retrieval rates thanks to a yellow ENCAP® treatment.

The ENCAP polymer completely encapsulates the jacket fibers, not merely the surface coat of the jacket. Features include circular bias-woven, single-jacket 100 percent virgin spun polyester, tube constructed of extruded T.P.U., standard lengths of up to 100 feet, wide service temperature range from −60°F to +140°F, FM abrasion test of 5,000 cycles minimum and Taber abrasion test of 1,000 cycles minimum, and minimum service test pressure of 300 psig. www.waterax.com, 360-574-1818

PGI Cobra™ NextGen™ hoods build on PGI’s Cobra Ultimate Sure-Fit™ hood with improved contour that better shapes to one’s head for improved fit and comfort. A fuller cut builds a little “ease” into the hood so it doesn’t fit skintight. This more generous cut provides improved thermal resistance from heat and flame because of the extra space (layer of air) between hood and head.

Plus, a 1.25-inch increase to the width of the patented Sure-Fit panel affords a more consistent seal fit with most SCBA masks and mask hardware. PGI added six additional inches to the width of each hood to provide exceptional coverage while reducing bunching at the chest and back. The 23-inch hood ensures complete chest and shoulder coverage and helps to keep hoods tucked in even after laundering shrinkage. www.pgi-inc.com, 800-558-8290

Coxreels V-100 Series product has been improved and is now offered with hose. With a redesigned fluid path, the V-100 Series features improved O-ring sealing for greater vacuum consistency and performance in addition to a new swivel retention system, which has strengthened the frame and prevents separation of the swivel under excessive lateral loading. Along with the redesign, another improvement is zinc plating of the swivel components for greater corrosion protection.
