For more than a year, the Sullivan County Ambulance Facility has sat empty. That's because in February of 2016 a fire destroyed the garage and damaged the three ambulances inside. Since then, President Bob Davis and the other Sullivan County Commissioners have worked on what's next for the building.

Worsening traffic congestion in San Diego is increasing fire department response times, according to a report delivered to the City Council's Public Safety and Livable Neighborhoods Committee Wednesday. A woman was found sitting in a fire engine after damaging another fire truck while it was parked at the station. Court records show that on March 5, a woman who was found sitting in a fire truck had already cut wires on one fire truck and damaged other equipment.
