Fire in Lynnwood restaurant sparked after gas line broke

A fire ignited in a commercial kitchen after a gas line broke at Talay Thai Restaurant in the 4500 block of 200th Street Southwest on Wednesday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. The restaurant where the fire broke out was occupied at the time. It was successfully evacuated without injuries. Lynnwood Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the stove.

Pullman fire marshal investigating 12 'maliciously set' fires in College Hill neighborhood

Pullman fire marshals are investigating a series of cotton fluff fires that came close to damaging five homes in the College Hill neighborhood Tuesday night. Around 10:20 p.m., Firefighters were called to the 1200 block of Hillside Drive to extinguish several fires burning in yards. The fires came within just a few feet of at least five houses, but were doused before major damage was done.

Woman Stole Dekalb County Ambulance, Caused Accident

A hospital patient was arrested after allegedly stealing an ambulance from DeKalb Memorial Hospital and causing a crash at Hambrick Drive and Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain.
Witness Chin Tsui said the impact of the crash was so intense, it took the tires right off the Mercedes that collided with the stolen ambulance.

According to police the woman crashed the ambulance and got into a fight with a pursuing officer.
