A Pasco man lost his home Tuesday after it went up in flames near Ruth Livingston Elementary school. Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Road 84 and Livingston in Pasco at around 4:15 p.m. The homeowner said workers in a field nearby noticed the fire. When crews arrived the home was engulfed in flames but the owner was not home.

Pasco firefighters say they put out a grass fire Tuesday afternoon that burned dangerously close to a business and utility poles. Fire fighters told KEPR the fire started around 11:30 Tuesday morning near Pasco Auto Wrecking on N Road 40 East. The flames scorched a little over an acre of land before crews put it out.
