VIDEO - A viral video of a dog nearly burning down a house in Waterbury is now being used around the country to teach fire safety.
The video shows three dogs left alone with a couple of pizzas on a stove. One of the dogs jumped up to take a sniff, and wound up turning on the cooktop. The pizza box burst into flames.

Eight people were put out late Sunday night after a fire started in their home.
Seattle Fire crews were dispatched around 10:00 p.m. to the 1700 block of E. Columbia St. for a roof fire in a triplex.
Officials with Seattle Fire told KOMO News at the scene eight adults live in the multifamily. No one was injured in the blaze, but those residents will be displaced for the time being, according to Seattle Fire.

First responders on scene of the deadly Ride the Ducks crash, and those who fought the summer wildfires, are raising awareness of a funding shortage that's jeopardizing the upcoming training of new paramedics.
The Medic One Foundation recognized the dozens of brave men and women who have helped rescue victims at a fundraiser on Thursday.
