Man who died in Deer Park plane crash identified

Spokane Medical Examiner has identified the man who died in a plane crash at Deer Park on Friday. George Bell, 79, died due to injuries to the head, neck, stomach, pelvis and other extremities injuries. The medical examiner ruled the death an accident. Authorities confirmed around 11:20 that an aircraft had gone down near Montgomery and Cedar.

2 alarm fire burns commercial building in Puyallup

Firefighters had their hands full battling a 2-alarm fire at a commercial building in Puyallup Monday morning, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue. The fire broke out just after 7 a.m. at Cascade Millwork & Supply on 58th Ave. E, fire officials said. Video shot by firefighter officials showed intense flames burning much of the building, and fire officials said they flames were so intense they had to fight the fire defensively, focusing on keeping it from spreading to neighboring buildings.

4 fires break out within 90 minutes in Auburn

An arsonist may be responsible for four fires that broke out in Auburn Sunday night. The fires happened within 90 minutes and within a mile of one another. Valley Regional Fire said the first fire was reported at 8:17 p.m. at an empty duplex in the 2200 bulk of M Street Northeast. About half the building was damaged.
