Longmont (CO) will donate one of its fire trucks, which has reached the end of its official lifespan, to its sister city in Ciudad Guzman, Mexico, TimesCall.com reported.

The city council unanimously approved the fire truck’s donation during its regular meeting Tuesday. It is believed to have an auction value of $50,000, the report said.

Longmont previously gave two of its older brush trucks to Ciudad Guzman, which has been Longmont’s sister city since 1997, according to the report.

The fire broke out Sunday night in the 300 block of W. 53rd Street North. The fire was clearly visible on KSN’s SkyView camera. The Wichita Fire Department said a large mass of wood products was burning and that thousands of gallons have been dumped on the fire.
