Benton County Fire District 1 is hosting its yearly Tri-City Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ride on the Fourth of July in honor of fallen firefighters across the Tri-Cities. The event happens every year on July 4, the anniversary of the death of firefighter Paul Bjorklund. Bjorklund died in an accident while fighting a fire on the Jump Off Joe Butte in 1992.

VIDEO: A fiery crash shut down southbound Interstate 5 near Lacey early Thursday morning. The road has since completely reopened.
