Texas Firefighter Who Died From Off-Duty Accident Helps Others as Organ Donor

VIDEO: A firefighter in Rockwall County, who was also an organ donor, is being remembered for his commitment to service and passion to help others. Clifford Haney,45, was taken off life support on Tuesday. He sustained major injuries after he fell while at his off-duty job as an HVAC tech last week.

Detectives investigating fatal fire at RV park in Snohomish County

Authorities are investigating a death after a fire at an RV park along Smokey Point Boulevard in Snohomish County on Wednesday morning. Detectives are at the scene in Arlington, where neighbors outside their mobile homes said flames consumed one RV and spread to another around 1:50 a.m. The resident in the second RV evacuated and called 911.

Firefighters prepare for potentially more fires with Red Flag warning issued around Kent

Dry grass has been growing all summer and is now prime fuel as the fire danger increases. Many times, the place a wildfire starts is along our highways when someone carelessly tosses a cigarette out the window. DOT video in Kent Wednesday morning saw crews tackling a fast-moving fire at I-5 and South Kent Des Moines Road.

Yakima family facing homelessness after an electrical fire completely destroys their home

An electrical fire ripped through their home and destroyed everything this family once knew nearly three months ago. Today the family of five says they're barely surviving. They now live in a small RV with no power and water. "We all just watched it burn," said Derek Mayokok. Derek and his sister Raven said it was just a normal day for them.
