Fire crews are working to extinguish two brush fires near Wapato.
Authorities said one brush fire burned 10 acres, located to the right of I-82 eastbound roads near milepost 47 and 50, Wednesday afternoon. Fire crews said the fire is completely controlled.
Another brush fire is burning about a mile and a half away and has burned 80 acres.

Firefighters say a man was hospitalized after he awoke to flames ripping through his home in Kitsap County Wednesday afternoon.
The house is in the 9600 block of Misery Point Road, Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue said. No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters were on scene for several hours Wednesday night making sure the flames were completely extinguished.

Firefighters used a raft and ropes system to rescue a man who suffered possibly serious injuries after falling from a waterfall near Round Lake in Camas.
A man, whose name was not released but described as in his 30s, fell from the falls in the area known as the Potholes at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Camas-Washougal Fire Department Battalion Chief Greg Payne said.

Yakima Police and Firefighters are investigating three suspicious fires that started Wednesday morning.
Firefighters tell NBC Right Now they were originally responding to a dumpster fire near Walnut and 7th Street around 4:00 a.m. On their way, they found a house on fire on the 200 Block of South 7th Street.

A 92-year-old woman who originally was reported missing early Wednesday after her home was gutted by fire has now been located alive and safe.
Fire crews rushed to the scene, in the 700 block of SW 310th Street, at about 5 a.m. after receiving a 911 call about smoke and flames spewing from the single-story home, said Deputy Battalion Chief Dave Mataftin of South King Fire & Rescue.
