PHOTOS/AUDIO: Patrick W. Stafford has no issues with standing on the top rungs of a Casper Fire Department ladder truck a few dozen feet above the earth or on a stage behind a six-string guitar playing a country song before a huge crowd.
The stage is exactly where Stafford and his band were in Kaycee, Wyoming, as they opened for Kyle Park and late country artist Chris LeDoux’s son, Ned, during Chris LeDoux Days, which was held June 14 - 15, 2024.

Yakima fire officials estimate over a dozen structures, many of which were homes, were lost in a wildfire burning near White Swan in central Washington.
The Slide Ranch Fire, which has been burning since June 22 and is also called the Mission Road Fire, grew to nearly 3,200 acres as of Sunday morning, according to Yakima County Fire District No.

VIDEO: Pullman firefighters were in North Bend this weekend preparing for emergency scenarios with the Washington State Fire Training Academy.
According to Pullman Firefighters Local 1892, about a quarter of Pullman firefighters attended the academy, where every firefighter in Pullman trains on a four year cycle.

An industrial fire southwest of Mansfield near Lillian sent balls of fire and plumes of smoke into the air Thursday.
The fire was reported after noon along the 12500 block of Farm-to-Market Road 917, about 2.5 miles west of Business U.S. Highway 287.
Several large balls of fire were seen bursting through the roof of the building in the industrial park.

VIDEO: When Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department Chief Theresa Kinstle joined her first fire station at 27 years old, she was the only woman on the fire truck; she never thought she would end up as a chief down the road.
