Have you ever heard of a fire truck being raffled off? That's what one Schuylkill County fire company is doing.

Crews battled a "stubborn fire" at a four-plex in the Hazel Dell area early Friday morning.
At around 2:30 a.m., firefighters with Clark County Fire District 6 and Vancouver Fire were called out to a fire in the 6200 block of Northeast 11th Avenue.
When firefighters arrived to the scene, the fire had spread from one of the units to the attic.

Construction, agricultural, and other outdoor workers braved the grey smog that choked most of Washington state last month. It was so bad, that its prompted Washington’s Labor and Industries division to craft rules that protect workers from wildfire smoke. This week, L&I filed the official notification, known as CR-101, the first step in the rulemaking process.

The Seattle Fire Department responded to the Chinatown-International District in Seattle Thursday after a car crashed into a commercial building.
The car crashed into Dim Sum King restaurant at the intersection of S Jackson Street and Maynard Avenue S just after 2 p.m.
Four people were taken to the hospital for evaluation, but none had serious injuries, according to David Cuerpo, public information officer for the Seattle Fire Department.

Idaho is seeing its largest coronavirus spike since the pandemic began, with new cases increasing by 46.5% over the past two weeks.
Some health care experts are urging the state’s governor to take additional action to slow the spread of the virus.
Dr. Bart Hill, a vice president with St. Luke’s Regional Health System, says Idaho’s current approach hasn’t worked to change the pandemic’s trajectory.
