While firefighters and EMS personnel need reliable access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and COVID-19 testing, vaccines are the ultimate form of defense for those serving on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19.

The Evans Canyon fire has grown to at least 69,920 acres and it is now at 10% containment, according to the Southeast Washington Interagency Incident Management Team. As of Friday morning, at least 734 personnel battling the fire, especially 7 helicopters, 10 dozers, 10 water tenders, 17 hand crews, 79 engines.
