Royal Upholstery & Fabric Center is also gearing up to potentially supply masks to the Spokane Fire Department personnel. Krista Featherstone, owner of Royal Upholstery, says that they were approached by the Fire Department about making masks for them.
“We were approached by the Spokane Fire Department about our ability to make masks and were asked to come up with a prototype and we did,” Featherstone says.

Kennewick Police are investigating a "suspicious fire" that erupted Tuesday night.
KPD reports the call came in at about 10:15 p.m to the area of East Albany Ave. and North Date Street.
The Kennewick Fire Department was able to quickly extinguish the flames, and say the fire started in a bucket.
Authorities say they are searching for those responsible for starting the fire.

Fire departments in Arizona went straight to the state Capitol Monday after a workers' compensation insurance company said their firefighters would not receive coverage if they contracted COVID-19 on the job.
A voicemail was sent to Arizona's Family confirming that's what 7710 Insurance said, but the company is now admitting they made a mistake.

After weeks of protests and motions from City Council trying to prevent it, Engine 11 in the South End has been decommissioned.
New Bedford Firefighters Local 841 sent out a statement about the closure on Sunday, highlighting the fact that the closure happened during a pandemic.
The statement said the closure adds to response times and reduces the level of preparedness that the city needs amid the current time of uncertainty.
