VIDEO: On Monday, the owner of a popular food truck in Bellingham plans to return to his normal hours approximately 3 weeks after an arsonist destroyed his trailer.
Someone set the Tacos El Tule truck on fire in the early morning hours of August 16 as it sat parked in owner Joey Robles's driveway, he said.

The Pullman Fire Department held a practice physical test Saturday morning for candidates interested in the Reserve Firefighter Program.
“I’m really interested in the medical side of EMS and fire because it’s 80 percent of what firefighters do,” said Finley Harrison, freshman biology major who is trying out for the reserve program.

The children of FDNY firefighters who perished on 9/11 are blossoming into a new generation of Bravest.
On the eve of the 18th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, the current FDNY Academy class, set to graduate in two weeks, includes 13 members — 12 men and one woman — whose firefighter fathers were murdered on 9/11, The Post has learned.

In 1999, José Troncoso had an idea.
It came while the veteran Portland firefighter was in Guadalajara, Mexico. The capital of the Mexican state of Jalisco, Guadalajara has been one of Portland’s sister cities since 1983. As part of that sister-city relationship, Portland was donating a fire engine to the Guadalajara Fire Department at the time.
