Officials investigate cause of fire that destroyed part of Maine campground

VIDEO/PHOTOS: The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a fire that destroyed part of a Scarborough campground. Thankfully, no one was injured. Fire crews were called to the scene at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday for the 3-alarm fire at Bailey's Camping Resort on Pine Point Road. The restaurant Seaside Square Cafe is part of the resort.

Wisconsin fire department already dealing with equipment issues now facing staffing shortage

VIDEO: For two days last week, Menomonee Falls had almost no equipment to fight a fire. There were no fire engines Tuesday, and by Wednesday night, only part of a ladder truck was working. But Assistant Chief James Mollet said that is not even the worst part. “The fact we are up here talking tonight because of vehicles being broken or out of service, to me, that’s the bright side,” said Mollet.

Report: Inactive sprinklers, previous collapse contributed to Pennsylvania firefighters' deaths

VIDEO: New information has been released on the investigation into the deaths of two York County firefighters. The report from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Administration tries to answer one question: should Ivan Flanscha and Zachary Anthony have been allowed in a partially-collapsed former mill? The Institute released a 57-page report detailing where they think the York City Fire Department went wrong on March 22, 2018 at the old Weaver Organ and Piano Company, and what the department can do to improve in the future.

VIDEO: Arizona fire departments going social for water safety

Mesa Fire and Medical and the Glendale Fire Department have joined together to spread the word about water safety through the easiest and most accessible platform — social media. The two departments posted on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts a video with a warning to keep kids safe and prevent drownings, especially with summer in full swing.

Traveling RV Brings Pediatric Emergency Training To First Responders in Colorado

VIDEO: First responders can now be better prepared for emergencies involving children. The Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children (RMHC) is on the road with its Mobile Training Center. For much of June, the specially-equipped RV is parked at South Metro Fire Rescue Authority’s administrative building.
