VIDEO: Located on the upper part of Rivers Avenue in North Charleston sits a former fire station – Old Station 6 – that some believe carries a deeper history.
The building is now privately owned, but former employees of the old fire station say they have felt a presence while previously working on the property.

Paramedics began working out of Spokane Valley Fire Station 9 near the southern edge of Spokane Valley this fall for the first time since it opened in 2009.
While the station still only has a paramedic on duty about 40% of the time, it marks an important step toward the department having 24/7 paramedic coverage at all 10 of its stations, Valley Fire EMS Chief John Leavell said.

In October 2020, Renton firefighters used flashlights as they walked through the vacant building — formerly a Denny’s establishment.
Curtains divided the interior into various areas with mattresses, blankets, furniture.
Renton police cleared the building of approximately a half-dozen homeless individuals prior to the entrance of the firefighters.

Phoenix firefighters battled a massive third-alarm blaze in at a warehouse early Wednesday morning.
Phoenix fire officials tell Arizona’s Family that crews were called out to 13th Avenue and Roosevelt Street just after midnight. When firefighters arrived, they found massive flames and large plumes of smoke billowing from a warehouse in the area.
