VIDEO: Fire officials have rescued a man who was trapped under material at a Paulding County concrete plant.
The incident happened Tuesday at Wayne Davis Concrete along Hailey Path in Dallas, Georgia.
Paulding County fire officials confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a man in his mid-30s became stuck in a hopper.

VIDEO: A local fire station is using a unique tool to educate the public on fire safety.
The Emporia Fire Department has a new inflatable safety house.
The department was awarded a grant from Clint Boyer’s 79 Fund in the summer, and now is ready to show this fire safety house to the public. Boyer’s 79 Fund is a grant supporting education, health and safety.

PHOTO: A slow deconstruction of the historic Fairhaven building that burned Saturday night has begun.
Fire Chief Bill Hewett says the contractor moved equipment in place Tuesday to start slowly taking the building apart.
He says it will likely be days before the structure is safe enough for investigators to safely examine the scene.

In a heartwarming display of generosity, Grant County Fire District 7 in Soap Lake brought a ray of hope and joy to a local family facing challenging times this Christmas season.
Fire Chief Chris Baker of Grant County Fire District 7 shared that the family, consisting of a mother and her two children, currently reside with an aunt due to their homeless situation.

Two people were seriously hurt after flames ripped through a building in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Just before 1:30 a.m., firefighters responded to a multi-unit apartment complex in the 4700 block of South Wolcott Avenue. Heavy smoke poured from the front door and windows on the first floor.
