Two women were airlifted to a hospital after they were hurt in a house fire near La Conner early Wednesday. A 7-year-old boy was able to escape the home unharmed. Firefighters were called to the home in the 12400 block of Downey Road in Skagit County for a report of a house fire with someone trapped inside at about 3:30 a.
