Five firefighters with Puget Sound Fire are now in quarantine after possible exposure to COVID-19.
Captain Joe Root says none of the firefighters are showing symptoms and that this is being done out of an abundance of caution.
“All five are doing fine as of (Saturday) night,” said Root. “None of them are symptomatic.

A non-functioning hydrant gave firefighters an added challenge while battling a house fire in Clark County early Monday morning.
At around 2 a.m., Vancouver Fire crews were called out to a house fire in the 6600 block of Northeast 137th Street. In total, eight Vancouver Fire units and two units from Clark County responded to the scene.

A paraglider was seriously injured when he fell 100 feet off Poo Poo Point Sunday afternoon.
The call for help came after the man's chute collapsed after leaping from the paragliding takeoff point, according to Eastside Fire officials.
Crews set a high-angle rope rescue to retrieve the man, then flew him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.

A family of seven lost their home in a fire early Saturday.
No one was injured in the fire in the Eastmont neighborhood in unincorporated Everett, according to South County Fire.
A resident reported the fire around 8:50 a.m. at a two-story house on Del Campo Drive.
“No one was in the home at the time,” said Leslie Hynes, South County Fire public information officer.

South County Fire crews responded to a two-alarm fire at Colonial Pantry restaurant in Edmonds’ Firdale Village just before 8 a.m. Friday morning.
South County Fire spokeswoman Leslie Hynes says there were no injuries. The cause is under investigation.
Fire crews were called out around 7:50 a.m. following a report of black smoke coming from the building.
